Paisley’s history mainly dates from 1163 onwards when Paisley Abbey was formed, putting the town on the map. but what evidence for earlier settlement can we see in the town? This walk will take us from the landscape of the medieval Abbey, over hills and back to the low lying areas of the town exploring the myths of early settlements in the area.
