Paisley & Witches Heritage Walk 15 Jan 2022

The Urban Historian > News > Walk > Paisley & Witches Heritage Walk 15 Jan 2022

Our thoughts for this walk turn to a dark period of Scottish History- witch hunting, especially so close to the anniversary of the execution of those accused during the Bargarran Witchhunt of 1696/97 on the 10th October. This Paisley & Witches Heritage Walk will take a fresh look at witch hunting connected to Paisley – looking at the myths and the truth about what happened at the time. We start our walk at the gates into Fergulsie Park at the corner of Thomas Street/ Broomlands Lane just of Ferguslie (A761) and will conclude in Paisley town centre.

We now have radio receivers for use during the walk to allow distancing, and to allow the guide to be heard. If you wish to make use of the receivers, you are welcome to bring your own headphones, or you can use our own which will be sanitised between uses.
