The Anchor Mills of the Clark Family have been part of Paisley’s history since the start of the 19th century. Today only 7 Mill buildings remain on the site out of around 30. The heritage walk will explore the site, pointing out what different areas of the site were used for in the past and describe what happened in the remaining buildings. Attention will also be drawn to the number of different early mills that occupied the site, owned by different people.
The walk will begin on Mill Street, at the junction of Seedhill (Langs Tannery) and finish at 1pm and finish around 3pm. (This is the private Road – not Seedhill Road)
